WorkPlus is Canada's leading job providing website. It not only allows candidates in Canada to apply for a job but also offers applicants across all over the world to work in Canada. Our partnership with hundreds of employers makes this task very easy. This work is made much easier by our collaboration with hundreds of employers.
2. Where does a candidate go after clicking on a job posted by me?

When a candidate clicks on your job, Work+ directly takes them to job description so that they can apply for the job after viewing the job requirements. Employers can easily manage applicants through their dashboard; the dashboard helps the employer in reviewing applications, downloading resumes, selecting, rejecting or deleting applications and contacting candidates.

3. What Work+ exactly is?
Work+ is a platform that connects employers and job seekers. We are neither a labor consultant company nor a recruitment organization. We are the bridge between an employer and a candidate.
4. How can I identify a scam job?

The following signs may point towards a scam job:-

(1) No experience required

(2) On the spot hiring

(3) Unexpected salary

(4) No presence on web

(5) You can be asked to provide personal information i.e, credit/debit cards, bank details, OTPs.

5. How can I protect myself from scam jobs?

You can protect yourself from scam jobs by keeping the following points in mind:-

(1) conduct a complete research about the company

(2) Check online reviews of the company

(3) Do not make any payment to the employer

(4) Do not share credit/debit cards, CVV or OTP

(5) Do not share personal information

6. How can I change password of my account?

You can change the password of your account by following the given steps:-

(1) Log in to your account and go to Profile

(2) Click on the Hi Employer/Candidate button on the Right Upper Corner

(3) Click on Change Password

(4) By entering your current and new password, you will be able to change your password.

7. The default language of my account is English. How can I change it to any other language?

You can change the language of your account by following the given steps:-

(1) Log in to your account and go to Profile

(2) Click on the Hi Employer/Candidate button on the Right Upper Corner

(3) Click on Change Language

(4) By selecting any of the given languages, you will be able to change language of your account.

8. I have forgotten the password of my account. How can I reset it.

To reset the password of your account:-

(1) Click on the login button and then click on forgot password

(2) Enter you email address

(3) You will receive a reset password link on your email. By clicking on that you will be able to reset your password.

9. I happen to find a fraudulent company. How can I report them?

If you find a company to be fraudulent, you can report them to our team by following steps:-

(1) Log in to your account

(2) On the homepage, select COMPANIES

(3) Select the company you wish to report

(4) You can report that company by clicking on REPORT THE COMPANY.

Our team will review your request and take most suitable action.

10. I have applied for a job on WorkPlus. When can I expect a response from the employer?
When you apply for a job, WorkPlus automatically sends all applications made by you to the employer. After that it is up to the employers to respond. We are just a medium that allows candidates to discover jobs and employers to receive applications.
11. I have already applied for a job. Can I apply for another one as well?

We believe in opportunities and do let you restrict to one application only.

You can apply for multiple jobs at a time.

12. I have applied for a job. Can I contact the employer about my application?

Generally recruiters contact the candidates. However, if an employer has provided their contact details you can certainly contact them. 

13. How can I get job on WorkPlus?

There are two ways to get a job on WorkPlus.

1. Discovered by Employers - If you are registered on WorkPlus, you will be a part of our Job Seekers database. Sometimes employers directly contact the candidate by searching their profile in our database. If your profile matches their expectations, they can contact you directly.

2. Apply for jobs - When you apply for a job on WorkPlus, your application is automatically sent to employer. The employer will view your profile and if they find you suitable for the posted job, they will contact you.

14. How much money would WorkPlus charge me to create my profile?
Both creating a profile and applying for a job are free on WorkPlus.
15. How can I find a job matching my profile?

WorkPlus provides applicants with different filters to search for a job e.g, Type, Categories, Skills, Career Level, Functional Area and Salary Range.

You can narrow down your search by using these filter. In case of No Results Found in search, you should reduce the filters and criteria. You can also check for spelling mistakes in your query.

16. I am not able to apply for a job even after completing my profile. Why is that?

 It is mandatory for an applicant to upload resume (CV) before applying for a job on WorkPlus.

We suggest to apply for a job after uploading your CV.

17. I want to make some changes in my posted job. How to do it?

You can edit your jobs by following the below given steps:

(1) Log in to your account and go to Profile

(2) In Recent Jobs, click on View More

(3) All the jobs you have posted, will appear in front of you. You can edit them from there. You can also delete a job from there

18. I am new on WorkPlus. How can I register myself on it?

For registering on WorkPlus, please follow the below mentioned steps-

(1) Go to the Register on Homepage

(2) If you are a candidate please register as a candidate and if you are an employer, register as an employer

(3) After filling all the details, click on Create Account. 

(4) Please verify your email by going to the inbox of your email account.

(5) Log in to your account

Now your registration on WorkPlus is complete.

19. I am an employer and by mistake I have registered as a candidate. Now I am unable to register as an employer. What should I do now?

In this case you can contact our team by generating an inquiry about this issue. Our team will delete your profile from our database. Then you can register yourself as an employer. You can also reach to us through our email contact@workplus,ca

20. Why am I not getting enough response for a posted job?

Please review the critical elements listed below that could affect your responses.

(1) Wait for at least 4-5 days after posting a job

(2) Make sure that your job is live on WorkPlus

(3) Check if the Industry/Functional Area is filled correctly

 (4) Make sure that the Job Tittle is mentioned correctly

21. How can I check responses on my posted job?

1. Please Log in to your account

2. Go to the Employer Dashboard

3. In the Recent Jobs section there is Applications for every job posting. By clicking on that, you can see all the applicant who have applied for that job

22. In how much time my job will go live on WorkPlus?
The job you have posted goes live immediately after posting.
